Pros and cons of Collins German-English app for iPhone and iPad

Collins German-English app good for

Very clear, complete and, above all, extremely fast. Dont hesitate to buy this. Its a pleasure to use it.
It was good since I started using it (in beginning of 2012). But now after the latest update to version 2.3 (mid. 2013), it became very very good and much smarter. It has simple words and verbs conjugation. If you are in doubt because of price (it is not cheap), dont hesitate because it is a good investment!!
I have a couple of German English dictionaries on my iPad. This was the one I used most in my german lessons. And it was good. But with the latest update it has become very very good. I partially like the new presentation of the full verb conjugations, and addition of favorite words. Great app if you are learning german.
This is the best dictionary for translating. I tried a lot of apps and using Oxford Deluxe to lookup english words. Its appear nice and clear, the translation is correct in most of the cases and gives also a nice conjugation table for verbs. Handy tool; left no wishes unfulfilled :)
This is a great, easy to use dictionary. Although it is rather expensive, if you are dedicated to learning the language or just tying to get your language credits I reccomend it.
$30 is expensive. Especially for an app. However, I found this app indispensable during my last trip throughout Europe. It works perfectly and has useful verb conjugations as well. I bought this one and the French one and they both came quite in handy. Even the locals were impressed by the examples. A paper dictionary might be cheaper, but not as handy as this one. The one thing you might consider is whether you need the iPad version or could settle for the iPhone version.

Some bad moments

At version 1.2 conjugator is not working well. It crashes a lot! Its sad but they broke this part of the product with the update from 1.1 to 1.2. Plus the problems with 1.1 still exist... Some verbs are wrong at the "Verbs Conjugator", probably using old grammatical rules. And the fact is: Germany made a reform in 2006, and this product is from 2008. :-/ Another strange thing is that some elementary words, like for example, the verb "to be" ("sein" in German), has explanations part in English and part in German (???)... when using the dictionary to translate from German to English. And this also happens in the opposite way. To be really called "Professional", this dictionary still must to fix these problems.
The good: -Vocabulary is extensive (though could be improved) -Verb conjugator -Number generator -History The bad: -The interface is very slow and at times vexing when you want to find something quickly. -Update frequency is pathetic. I paid A$30 for this App two years ago and can only recall it being updated once. -Word list could be expanded. -Plurals not always visible. -History could be saved/e-mailed to allow users to learn the words. -User is required to select the language each time. POOR, especially compared to the Dict.cc App.
Totally disappointed. I wish i could my money back. Crashes often. Slow in starting up. Bad translation. Wat not!!!
There are a lot of words the app just can not find! A quarter of the time the meaning is wrong. Dont trust it for a Deutsch class! I expected a lot more for $20.00. This app needs an update fast!
BRING BACK OLD INTERFACE - as option perhaps. OR FIVE NE MY MONEY BACK!! The old GUI was more efficient. Now have to scroll kilometers. The GUI colors are not the best.
I have the app both on IPhone and IPad, and since yesterday the German-English vocabulary doesnt open on iPhone. Re-loading, updating were no help.
